The Fuller Treaty, as a digital product, arises from a new World Game conversation, based on the work of Buckminster Fuller, #IsThereEnough. It has been tested among 100’s of people over 1000’s of hours in 25 countries. Its research and practice demonstrates that it produces new agreement and trust in the world, even among people who have little in common to expect that result. It has been successfully used to moderate clarifying conversations about abortion, courage, water scarcity, wealth, hate, conflict, and tribalism. It uncovers ways for people who do not easily agree to find ways to collaborate. This occurs from every aspect of the campaign. The spread of this project, even among those that do not engage with the treaty itself, will enhance and ripple a focus of cultural agreement about the value of agreement itself, and with each increment of success, make conflict and war a less viable option.
#IsThereEnough, as a conversation, is a game of human evolution. Its activities examine value in a new way. They produce trust and agreement. They enlighten better choices on every level, from the social to the tribal to each individual’s. After interviewing 100’s of people over 1000’s of hours in 25 countries, we have found the asking of #IsThereEnough begins a simple, inevitable examination of what there is, and is not enough of, at each moment in time. It reveals value in a way that makes it possible to frame how to do something about scarcities and their “something” is inevitably, (after conflict and strife) a new agreement.
#IsThereEnough’s benefits are not just social, but individual as well. The work has been used around the world to re-assess personal values and unique worldviews, and to use its insight making to understand the views and values of others. It creates discovery and clarity, something that every individual can use to make their own world work better, not just the world in general, as the question initially seems. This aspect has proven its appeal across social and political boundaries that do not easily sit together. Its supporters are from both the left and the right, from progressive to libertarian, religious to atheist.
As a multi-format activity, its work acts as a human trust making machine that produces measurable new agreement, even among tribes and parties that have little in common other than their humanity. It may even be fairly argued that the agency it promotes, the power it promotes, in the actions of each individual human being, is a preventative reality that is better able to resist authoritarian appeal.
