Everything we've built so far has been designed with memory in mind. Think of it like this - we want socra to be able to remember and learn from all its interactions, just like a human would.
Our latest big architecture change was super important for this. We're building it so socra can move through its memories like navigating a huge family tree of knowledge. Instead of having to check every single branch (which would be super slow), it will be able to skip around efficiently to find exactly what it needs. Kind of like how you can immediately remember where you left your keys without having to replay your entire day!
And here's the really smart part - we've built the whole privacy system around this too. When socra works with you on a project, it will only be able to access memories that:
1. You've specifically shared with it
2. Are part of your joint projects together
3. Are public knowledge (like facts about the world)
This means your private stuff stays private, but socra still gets to build meaningful, persistent memories from your interactions together.
We're honestly getting close to something really special here - an AI that can truly learn, remember, and grow from its experiences while keeping everyone's privacy totally secure.
