socra DMCA Policy

socra is committed to protecting the intellectual property rights of others and takes allegations of copyright infringement seriously. Pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), socra has designated an agent to receive notifications of claimed copyright infringement.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on the socra platform, please notify our designated copyright agent, identified below. For your complaint to be valid under the DMCA, you must provide the following information in writing:

  1. An electronic or physical signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

  2. Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.

  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit socra to locate the material.

  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit socra to contact you, such as your physical address, telephone number, and email address.

  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Upon receipt of a valid and complete notice, socra will remove or disable access to the infringing material and notify the alleged infringing party. If the alleged infringing party believes that the material has been wrongly removed, they may send a counter-notice to our designated copyright agent, identified below.

Please be aware that if you knowingly materially misrepresent that material or activity on the Website was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may be held liable for damages.

socra may terminate the account of repeat infringers in accordance with the DMCA and socra Terms of Service.
