I was born in one of the poorest areas in Brazil. My mother was pregnant with me at 14, and I was raised by my grandparents until I was seven. My mother worked as a housemaid.
What has always stood out about me is my strong desire for continuous improvement and building a better life. I have consistently strived for excellence in everything I committed to doing.
I immigrated to the USA and lived alone in this country, away from my family. I became an engineer and worked to support myself while pursuing my degree. After college, I started my own company, worked for a large corporation, and also contributed to a unicorn startup.
However, self-improvement isn't solely about advancing in your career. For the past three years, my top priority in life has been my health. I've learned that to play the long-term game, being in good shape is essential.
Many times, I chose the wrong path, especially in my fitness journey. I began my fitness journey back in high school, frequently going on and off with the gym. It took me years to commit, learn proper form, and genuinely enjoy working out. Only then did I start to see results.
Another challenge I faced was wasting a lot of time and effort duplicating work and solving problems that had already been resolved because I was unaware of existing solutions.
Frequently, I had no idea what to do and had to sift through hundreds of search results on Google just to find something that partially fit my circumstances. And don't even get me started on having to scroll through all the ads on those pages.
I have experienced countless achievements, but I've also faced numerous failures. Most of my failures stemmed from getting sidetracked, derailed, and losing sight of what I truly wanted to achieve in life.
The idea for socra began with a simple yet profound question: “What do I need to do today to achieve my long-term goals in the future?” A supercomputer could likely answer that question better than we could.
Imagine how much time and effort it would have saved me if I had a system to help me plan, track, and navigate my goals from start to finish.
So, I quit my job to start socra—a platform designed to help people crush their goals. There's a reason the tagline says "crush" rather than "achieve." Socra is not a habit tracker, not a to-do list, and not a note-taking app; it's your second brain on your journey to success.
I don't care about product-market fit, niche, networking events, or fundraising. I unplugged from the matrix. The only thing that truly matters is to continue improving the platform that helps you make progress toward your goals in the right direction.
socra is built by people who understand the challenges of achieving goals for those who want to make meaningful progress in their lives.

Eduarda Ferreira’s journey began in one of Brazil's poorest areas, raised by her grandparents while her young mother worked as a housemaid. Driven by a relentless desire for continuous improvement, she immigrated to the USA, became an engineer, and navigated her way through various career roles, including starting her own company and contributing to a unicorn startup.
Throughout her career, Eduarda recognized that self-development extends beyond professional success; it requires a commitment to personal well-being. Her fitness journey was fraught with challenges, including years of inconsistency and the struggle to find effective solutions amidst overwhelming information. However, she ultimately learned the importance of health in achieving long-term goals.
These experiences prompted Eduarda to create socra, a platform designed to help individuals effectively track their goals and navigate their paths to success. Motivated by her own challenges with goal management, she envisioned socra as a tool to simplify the journey, focusing on meaningful progress rather than mere achievement.
Eduarda's story is a testament to the power of entrepreneurship and the importance of embracing challenges on the path to self-improvement, making her a true co-founder in both business and personal growth.By Eduarda Ferreira
