## Personal Spaces
When you sign up on Socra, we create a personal `space` for you tied to your username. In your personal space, you are in charge of permissions, membership, privacy, and more. You're the `owner` of your personal space and can manage any content, people, or AI agents within it.
## Shared Spaces
Sometimes, you want to share more than just a segment of your space with others. Sometimes, you want to share an entire space-worth of content with one or more people or agents. In this case, you don't want to use your personal space. You'll want to create a `shared space` for this.
With shared Socra spaces, you can share the whole space with any number of people. From a small group to a dinner party size, or even a massive organization, Socra spaces can handle the group—whatever size it is. Spaces give shared access to all content within to anyone in the space. This helps you and your team align on objectives and make progress toward your goals.
## Public Spaces
When a space becomes public anyone can request entry, contribute insights, and amplify collective intelligence, turning a `public space` into a living network of shared knowledge. Public spaces automatically publish your content on search engines, making your ideas discoverable worldwide—just like how blog posts appear in Google results. People searching the internet can land on public spaces, read your insights, and engage with your thoughts.By Mike Morton
