1. Open Socra.
2. Click on the notifications menu.
3. Read your notifications.
4. Navigate away to any other menu.
**Expected result:** The notifications badge should disappear when there are no notifications.
**Actual result:** The notifications badge stays visible until a hard refresh occurs.
**Test Environment:**
1. Laptop: Windows 11 Version 23H2, Firefox browser.
2. Google Pixel 8 Pro, Brave browser.
3. Desktop: Windows 11 Version 24H2, Brave browser.On February 1, 2025, Georgia Antoniou reported a software bug titled "Notifications badge out of sync" within the Socra web application.
