In the Socra titled "Improve about/chat/timeline panel," created by Eduarda Ferreira on January 14, 2025, the objective was to enhance the user experience (UX) by simplifying the user interface (UI) of the panel comprising About, Chats, Timeline, and Members.
The team aimed to improve the functionality of the panel with several key action items. They successfully implemented features enabling users to click on timeline updates to initiate chats, thus reintroducing threads and displaying reply counts. By default, the timeline now opens first for easier access. Notifications were set up to alert the assigned members, such as Mike, whenever updates are sent to them, ensuring they remain informed. Additionally, chats are now displayed directly on the timeline to streamline communication.
