## Inbox Colors
Inbox item coloring by priority is not particularly helpful; in fact, I don't think I've used it even once.
Here are some changes I would like to propose:
- [x] Make the unread coloring more prominent. I believe that a combination of a notification dot and a highlight color would be the best approach for unread items.
- [x] Consider changing the color of the left side of the inbox item to match the color of the journey, or perhaps always display the parent chip.
This is open-ended, and I would love to hear your feedback! On November 17, 2024, Mike Morton initiated a Socra titled "Inbox Colors" to address the effectiveness of color coding in the inbox. He noted that the current item coloring by priority was not beneficial, as he had never utilized it.
Mike proposed several updates to improve the email organization and interface. He suggested making unread items more noticeable by implementing a notification dot alongside a highlight color. Additionally, he recommended altering the color of the left side of inbox items to align with the corresponding journey color or consistently displaying the parent chip.
Mike encouraged user feedback on his design proposal, emphasizing the importance of enhancing the overall user experience in managing unread items and priorities. The Socra remains open for further input and discussion.By Mike Morton
