Consulting Website Feedback

My friend is starting his consulting journey and he built a website/portfolio for his work. We would love your feedback! https://www.edwardamirault.com

## Situation Eduarda's friend Edward Amirault launched a consulting portfolio at edwardamirault.com. He has 100+ completed structures in 3D construction and an ICON Technology background. The site is live and receiving its first round of external feedback. ## What's Working - The credibility line "He doesn't theorize about 3D construction. He has built it, repeatedly, at scale." is the strongest copy on the page. Keep it. - 100+ completed structures is a concrete anchor. It does the job immediately. - The services list maps cleanly to real procurement decisions in this space. ## What Needs Work **Hero section is underperforming.** It reads like a LinkedIn headline. It should open with the problem clients arrive with: expensive missteps, failed deployments, vendor lock-in. Make the visitor feel understood before the pitch starts. **Contact form has no trust scaffolding.** It asks for significant context upfront with no signal of what happens next. No response time, no sense of how Edward engages, no rough shape of what working together looks like. Two sentences above the form would reduce drop-off meaningfully. **Zero social proof beyond the bio.** One client result with specifics ("helped X developer deploy their first 3D printed community in Y weeks") closes the trust gap for cold visitors far faster than credentials alone. ## Prioritized Actions [x] Site is live and readable [ ] Add 2 sentences above the contact form setting expectations for what engaging Edward actually looks like [ ] Replace the hero headline with a problem-first opening that names what clients are walking in with [ ] Add at least one client result with a specific outcome and timeline ## Open Question The site is built for consulting conversions but it's unclear whether Edward's primary channel is inbound (SEO, referrals landing cold) or warm outreach (sending the link after a conversation). The answer changes how hard the cold trust layer needs to work. If most visitors already know him, the current site may be sufficient for now.
