Usability testing evaluates a product by testing it with real users. It helps us understand how people interact with Socra, where they get stuck, and what needs to improve. We run these tests to make sure the platform actually works for the people using it.
## Testing with Video Call
A 30-minute call where we dial the user, they share their screen, and we watch them navigate the platform.
**Checklist:**
- [ ] **Hands-Off Exploration:** Let the user navigate freely without comments or help. Observe and take notes on any confusion or friction.
- [ ] Ask them to think aloud as they go, verbalizing thoughts and reactions. This surfaces mental models and pain points that silent observation would miss.
- [ ] **Task Completion:** Ask the user to complete the following and note where they struggle:
- [ ] Create a new Space
- [ ] Create a new Journey and invite someone to join
- [ ] Create, assign, and complete a Socra
- [ ] Interact with different AIs
- [ ] **Describe Platform to a Friend:** Ask them to explain Socra to someone who has never heard of it. What is it, what does it do, and should that person use it?

## Testing Alone
Record yourself navigating Socra while sharing your thoughts out loud. Attach the video to a Socra and answer the following:
1. **What do you think Socra is for, based on your first impression? How would you describe it to a friend?**
2. **Could you complete the tasks below without help? What was hardest?**
